35 year rider,
I prefer 3/4 helmets to full-face, because they are lighter, cooler, and (to me) quieter. A 5-button shield has saved my face. However, no over-the-counter shield fits the Rockhard snap pattern (as yet). Ten minutes with a Dremel tool to modify the bottom slots in an over-the-counter shield, and it works fine. No complaints with how it sits on my head. Now to try it on the road …

I have a full face Shoei, and a Davida but this helmet is my favorite. Light and comfortable for a third of the price. Can’t go wrong with this helmet!
